General

The holiday home for 4 persons has a bathroom and two bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with a heater, a TV, a heather and a DVD player. In addition there is a garden, a barbecue and a set of garden furniture. You can park your car on a parking lot. The badroom is equipped with two washbasins, a shower, a toilet and a hairdryer.

The holiday home has a washing machine, a freezer and two fridges.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a microwave and a dishwasher.

This charming thatched cottage, nestled in the quiet hill of Alcombe, offers a cozy retreat for up to four guests. With two double bedrooms, each featuring king-sized beds and vaulted ceilings, it is perfect for couples, friends, or small families. The property exudes character, with exposed beams and oak furniture, while modern amenities ensure a comfortable stay. Guests will enjoy the large living area with a gas-burning stove, ideal for chilly evenings, as well as a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. The recently renovated bathroom offers a spacious freestanding shower. The property is pet-friendly, allowing one well-behaved pet to stay, though they should remain downstairs and not be left alone.

The cottage is ideally situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park, making it a perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts. With easy access to the South West Coast Path and many other hiking trails, guests can enjoy stunning countryside views and explore the surrounding area on foot. The town of Minehead, just a short distance away, offers a beautiful sandy beach, charming harbor, and a variety of independent shops, cafes, and family-friendly attractions. The picturesque village of Dunster, with its historic castle, and other nearby spots like Watchet and Porlock Weir provide additional sightseeing opportunities.

Outside, the south-facing garden offers an excellent vantage point to take in the surrounding landscape, with a top terrace featuring outdoor furniture for guests to enjoy in the summer months. There is private parking for one car, and a second car can be parked nearby.

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
