Charming boat-inspired cabin retreat in a scenic lakeside setting, perfect for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. Designed to resemble upturned fishing boats from Northumberland’s coastal communities, this cozy glamping cabin offers all-season comfort with a touch of maritime charm. Sleeping up to four adults and one child, it provides a spacious, private retreat with stunning views over the lake towards Bristol Lodge, the historic home of author Catherine Cookson.

Inside, the cabin features a comfortable king-sized bed and a versatile double sofa bed, with a curtained-off sleeping area for added privacy. The well-equipped kitchenette includes a sink, fridge with ice compartment, double ceramic hob, electric oven with grill, kettle, and toaster—ideal for preparing meals. The living space is warmed by an electric heater and offers modern amenities such as a 28” smart TV with DVD, WiFi, and an en-suite shower room with flushing toilet, shower, and shaver socket. Step outside onto your private decking, which leads to a gravelled area with seating around a firepit and BBQ, perfect for enjoying peaceful evenings and spectacular sunset views.

The site features six unique cabins, including options like Blackcleugh, Humbleton, and The Wonneys, each offering a distinctive scenic experience. Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
