The holiday home for 6 persons has a bathroom and two bedrooms and is equipped with a double sofa bed, two single beds and a double bed. The holiday home is equipped with a TV and a heather. In addition there is a barbecue, a garden, a terrace, a set of garden furniture and a hot tub. You can park your car on a parking lot. The badroom is equipped with a shower.

The holiday home has a freezer and a fridge.

Kitchen

This cozy chalet accommodates up to six guests with two bedrooms — one featuring a double bed and the other two single beds — and a double sofa bed in the living room. Ideal for families and couples, the property is pet-friendly for up to two well-behaved pets (with a nightly fee). A private wood-fired hot tub offers serene lake views, and the stay includes free access to an on-site farm park where guests can meet animals like alpacas and lambs. A BBQ is available for warm summer evenings, and guests also receive discounts at the farm’s local-produce shop.

Located just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Hertford and the A10, this chalet offers the perfect balance between rural peace and urban convenience. Nearby attractions include Hertford Castle with its public gardens, and the Chadwell Way Sculpture Trail — a scenic five-mile walking route through Hertford, Ware, and Great Amwell. Local pubs, cafés, and shopping options are easily accessible, making it a well-connected yet peaceful retreat.

Inside, guests will find an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, along with a private shower room. The kitchen comes equipped with all the essentials, including a stove, fridge, kettle, and dining space, while heating, bed linen, towels, and final cleaning are all included in the stay. Additional rules apply such as no lake swimming and restrictions on open flames inside, with check-in available on select days from 3–6 p.m.

On-site costs

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
