From the car park, a climb of a few hundred metres through the trees leads you to the clearing. The chalet appears, a cocoon of wood nestled in the forest between Finhaut and Le Châtelard.
Here, time changes pace. In the evening, when the sun sets behind the mountains, the crackling of the fire in the stove takes over. During the day, the solar has stored enough energy so that, in the evening, a subdued light accompanies you until a simple and tasty meal, shared around the table. No noise, no notifications, just the voices and the scent of pine trees through the openings.
In the morning, you wake up without an alarm. Fresh air comes in through the window and the forest is still silent. That's when you understand: the real luxury is this kind of morning.
Le Châtelaret has no electricity from the grid. Just enough solar for the fridge and some lighting. But what is missing in 220V sockets is the possibility of enjoying the present moment. Chalet "Le Châtelaret". In a secluded, elevated position, in the countryside. Private: property 6'500 m2, garden 1'000 m2, parking (for 3 cars) on the premises. Bus stop 1.3 km.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
