General

The holiday home for 10 persons has five bathrooms and five bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with a fireplace and a DVD player. In addition there is a balcony, a terrace, a barbecue and a jacuzzi. You can park your car on a parking lot (indoor). The badroom is equipped with a shower.

The holiday home has a freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a Internet connection (ADSL, ISDN and wireless).

Especially for (young) children, there is a cot.

Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. Top-equipped comfort chalet with outdoor hot tub , wood-burning stove and free WLAN. Panoramic hillside location with spectacular views of the Rhône Valley, the Bernese Alps and the Matterhorn. Spaciousness, well thought-out layout and high-quality furnishings characterise the special living quality of the chalet. Each of the 5 bedrooms has a bathroom with WC. All beds are 2 metres long.
The spacious, light-flooded dining and living room with open-plan kitchen invites you to spend sociable evenings by the wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV with approx. 240 programmes (including de - en - fr - it) as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime. On the top floor there is a large room with 2 single beds and seating area (sofa bed for 2 people), TV with DVD player, which can also be used as a children's area. Underfloor heating in the living area, large fridge with ice cube maker/water dispenser and garden furniture/barbecue. The outdoor hot tub is ideal for relaxing in the evening and getting fit for the next day, hot tub fee already included in the holiday price.

The property is fully fenced. Depending on snow conditions, it is possible to ski down to the house (touring run, no marked or groomed piste, at your own risk).

To the ski bus stop .200 m, to the centre of Les Collons .2 km. The pleasant holiday resort has shops, restaurants, après-ski pubs, bank, post office, ski hire, ski school. Approx. 1.6 km away is the modern thermal spa "Les Grands Bains d'Hérémence" with extensive wellness facilities, such as an infinity pool, indoor pool with 5 hot tubs , 4 saunas, large hammam, 3 sensory caves, experience showers. There are also the two restaurants Eringer and Le Bistro 1809 as well as a sports shop/ski hire. In Thyon 2000, .6 km, there is an indoor swimming pool and childcare (from 18 months, in the winter season). Attractive winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes.

Please note: The maximum occupancy of the chalet is 10 people, even if more sleeping accommodation is available.

Chalet altitude .1700 m, ski area up to 3,330 m, with Mont Fort glacier. "Skiing at the highest level" with 410 km of pistes and numerous fantastic ski routes and freeride runs. 4 Vallées is the largest ski area in Switzerland. A new 4-seater express chairlift leads from Les Masses to the ski area, with a multi-storey car park at the valley station. From Greppon Blanc (2,700 m), the magnificent deep-snow run "L'Eteygeon" (not marked or groomed, at your own risk) over 1,300 metres in altitude into the secluded Dixence valley, return by free ski bus. Large "Centralpark" snow park near Thyon. Outdoor artificial ice rink in Les Collons, free admission. The region offers 12 km of cross-country ski trails.

The chalet has garden furniture, deckchairs and a parasol.
Les Collons also has a lot to offer in spring, summer and autumn, especially the many hiking and mountain bike tours attract visitors. You can walk along the "Suonen" (former irrigation canals) with a slight incline. Other activities on offer include horse riding, climbing, gliding and bowling. A stroll through the historic town of Sion, the capital of Valais and a boat trip on the underground lake of St-Léonard are well worthwhile. Another highlight is the 285 metre-high Grande Dixence dam.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
