About the accommodation
A stone staircase leads up to the house and you are rewarded with an impressive view of the Riviera del Gambarogno. Thanks to its south-facing position, the garden and terrace are bathed in sunshine all day long, while the house remains pleasantly cool thanks to its rock construction. The quiet location on the edge of the forest ensures relaxation without having to sacrifice proximity to the tourist centres.

Important to know
There is a small stream with a rushing waterfall next to the house. What is pure relaxation for many can be dangerous, especially for younger guests. Children should therefore never play unsupervised at the waterfall. The access via around 80 steps also requires some fitness and should be planned for when packing.

Room layout
Casa Riale consists of two flats with separate entrances. The lower flat is ideal for four people and has a kitchen, living area, two bedrooms and a terrace with seating area. Thanks to the large windows, there is plenty of light in the rooms and from the terrace you can enjoy the view of the lake and mountains well into the evening.

Location and connections
The house is ten minutes by car from Locarno and Tenero. The nearest bus stop is around 500 metres away. Public transport is available for excursions throughout Ticino, from Brissago to the Verzasca Valley. The mixture of seclusion and proximity to well-known places makes the location particularly attractive.

Activities and experiences
Hikes through the woods, a trip to Brione, the panoramic views from Cardada-Cimetta, adventures in the Gordola rope park or a visit to the Falconeria - the surrounding area offers something for everyone. Those seeking relaxation will find it in the wellness park or at Locarno Lido. The region is also rich in culinary delights: typical Ticino grotti and international restaurants leave nothing to be desired.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
