About the accommodation
After climbing up to the flat, the view of the Riviera del Gambarogno opens up - a panorama that you won't soon forget. Thanks to the sunny south-facing position, the sun shines into the garden and onto the terrace from morning to evening. At the same time, the house remains pleasantly cool as it is built directly into the mountain rock at the edge of the forest. When you arrive here, you immediately feel a sense of peace and space.

Important to know
There is a small stream with a waterfall next to the house. What is relaxing for many can be dangerous for children - they should never play here unsupervised. There are around 50 steps to climb to get to the flat. The accommodation is therefore less suitable for disabled or elderly guests.

Room layout
The upper flat is suitable for four people. It has a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious living area with fireplace and two bedrooms. There is also a terrace with a seating area, fireplace and small lawn - a place to enjoy during the day and socialise by the fire in the evening.

Location and connections
Casa Riale is around ten minutes by car from Locarno and Tenero. The nearest bus stop is about 500 metres away. Access is via a stone staircase with 50 steps, which should be taken into account when travelling and packing.

Activities and experiences
The region offers a wide range of activities: Hikes through the surrounding forests, a visit to the "Elisarion" art museum in Brione or an excursion to Cardada-Cimetta with breathtaking views over Lake Maggiore. Those who like to savour the pleasures of life can stop off at a typical grotto or relax in the wellness park and Lido in Locarno. You can also experience the Ticino way of life right by the house - by firing up the garden fireplace and enjoying a cosy barbecue in the open air.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
