Lake View Hideaway - a small, quietly located wooden house in Rorschacherberg - is a stylish retreat for two adults or for an adult with a child. The striking house, newly furnished in June 2026, with its warm, orange wooden facade is nestled in the countryside, in a quiet cul-de-sac and combines privacy, architecture and views in a particularly charming way. Large windows open the view of Lake Constance and bring a lot of light into the house.

On the ground floor there is a small, well-equipped kitchen with a ceramic hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine and a kettle, a dining area and two comfortable armchairs with a TV. Also on the ground floor is the compact bathroom with shower, small sink and hairdryer. A spiral staircase leads to the upper floor, where the sleeping area, a dressing area and a sofa for reading are located – with a beautiful view over Lake Constance.

The special highlight is the roof terrace with a high table and high chairs. Here you can enjoy the lake view in an elevated position – with the first coffee in the morning, with a glass of wine in the evening or just for a quiet moment over the roofs of Rorschacherberg. Wi-Fi and Netflix are available free of charge. On request, breakfast can be ordered the day before, the billing takes place according to effort.

The location is quiet and at the same time well connected: the Rorschach train Station is about 1 km away and can be reached on foot in about 12 minutes. From there there are, among other things, direct express train connections to Lausanne and connections to the Appenzellerland. Shopping facilities, a bakery and a butcher's shop are located in the immediate vicinity, Lake Constance, the Rorschach lido and the Hörnlibuck bathing complex are also within easy reach. St. Gallen, Bregenz and Lindau are also suitable for excursions. The Mobility Ticket St. Gallen Lake Constance is included and is valid from the day of arrival to the day of departure in the OSTWIND zones 210, 211 and 231.

Good to know: Pets are not allowed. Smoking is only permitted on the forecourt. A washing machine and a tumbler are not available in the house. Due to the spiral staircase to the upper floor and the relatively narrow bathroom, the accommodation is only partially suitable for people with reduced mobility. The arrival and departure takes place with a personal handover of the keys by the hosts.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
