We warmly welcome you to our holiday home.
Would you like to switch off from everyday life, enjoy a newly built and beautifully furnished holiday flat, spend time in the peaceful countryside and offer your children a carefree play and farming experience?
Then you've come to the right place.
The holiday flat...
The holiday flat is designed for 6 people and a small child in a cot.
It is new and modern. Furnished and decorated with a combination of modern and modern old style, it makes hearts beat faster!
The Gugger farm belongs to us.
We run a dairy farm in the valley, right next to the Thur, in Stein SG.
In addition to the valley farm, we manage two alps in summer, which are located in the alpine regions of Toggenburg.
Around 18 dairy cows, 5-7 calves and cattle, 6 goats, 2 dwarf sheep, 3 rabbits and 4 chickens live with us on the farm.
We are very happy to welcome our guests on the farm, in the barn or on the Alps, if they are interested.
Experience the adventure of farming with your children. Expand your knowledge in a playful way when you visit our barn. Lend a hand and get close to the animals.
Childcare....
Would you like to go on a hike that is not suitable for your children, experience a day of skiing without the children or enjoy a delicious dinner without the children? Then ask us for childcare.
We offer childcare on site on spontaneous request. The children experience the normal, everyday life on our farm with us. If our daily routine does not allow it, then unfortunately it is not possible.
The offer is only aimed at children who speak and understand German.

I, Peter, am a farmer with heart and soul. I love being with the animals and in nature.
I also appreciate the variety and my role as a host.
I spend my free time hiking, biking, skiing and ski touring in the mountains of Toggenburg.
I, Andrea, am a housewife and mum and help out with the farm work.
The holiday flat is my job on the farm, which suits me perfectly as a qualified housekeeper.
In my free time I join Peter. My heart beats for hand organ playing, yodelling and the traditions of Toggenburg and Appenzellerland.

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
