Welcome to our holiday farm Barenegg! Our farm is situated in a sunny and quiet location at 1000 metres above sea level with wonderful views and sunsets. In summer it is an ideal starting point for biking, swimming and hiking in the Appenzellerland or Toggenburg. In winter skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing or snowshoeing. Our flat offers you two double rooms, one triple room, cosy living room, kitchen and shower/WC. Central heating available. The area around the house invites you to relax, play and barbecue.
In summer you have the possibility to visit the cows on the nearby alp. There is also the possibility to participate in our daily work or just watch and experience our farm animals with holding, smelling, stroking etc..
Attractive tourist attractions such as the treetop walk in Mogelsberg, the sound trail in Obertoggenburg or Kronberg/Säntis in Appenzellerland are also within easy reach.

Our animals
On our farm we have dairy cows, cows/cattle, calves, cats, ducks, chickens, pigs and rabbits.
The dairy cows and cattle are on the alp (approx. 2km away) in summer and are milked there.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
