Vacation in architectural monument combine heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Vacation in architectural monument (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.
Car park: A space directly next to the house and not covered. Access to the house is guaranteed. The space by the container should remain free, please park other vehicles in the car park by the school building.
Public transport: The bus stop is 50 metres away.
Number of persons 4-8: A baby cot (up to 2 years) is available. The house can accommodate four to eight guests (plus baby). The house can be entered from both arbours. These lead directly into the high smoking kitchen with adjoining very modern kitchen. From the smoke kitchen you enter the cosy dining room and the Stipli (small adjoining room) behind it with a comfortable sofa. A small staircase also leads from the kitchen to a double bedroom. A steep staircase leads to the 2nd floor. There are three double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower/WC. There is also a separate WC on the east arbour on the ground floor. The house can also be rented for just four people, making it more economical. The floors are made of wood so we recommend good slippers.
Garden: Two covered arbors offer space for the garden table and chairs. There is also a gravelled area in front of the house where you can linger. The view from the garden extends over meadows into the impressive Brunni valley, which is wedged in by rugged mountain flanks.

The Stüssihofstatt is a listed building that has been renovated with great respect for the existing substance. The tenant is aware of this and treats the property with care. Although the technical equipment is up to date, certain functional details do not meet current standards and are a potential source of danger. The tenant is aware of these circumstances. Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
