This holiday home for 8 persons has five bedrooms.

Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. The 200-year-old listed farmhouse is in a quiet and idyllic location next to a waterfall and forest and has access to the lake (150 metres away).

The house has a modern kitchen, a historic farmhouse parlour and cosy, wood-panelled rooms. It has recently been partially renovated (new floors, freshly painted)
There are several seating areas around the house, a lush flowering garden and a sunbathing lawn right by the lake. The area is suitable for hiking, swimming, biking, skiing and fishing. Alpine skiing in Meiringen-Hasliberg, 15 minutes by car. Lungern is surrounded by 2000 metre high mountains and has a beautiful village with old wooden houses. Tourist centres such as Lucerne and Interlaken can be reached within 30-45 minutes by car. The world's largest underground shooting sports centre with a 300-metre shooting range, shooting cinema etc. is in the immediate vicinity. Lungern fishing paradise with lake trout fishing.

Excursion possibilities: Grimsel Pass, Susten Pass, Meiringen Hasliberg with dwarf hiking trail for children, Aare Gorge, Ballenberg (farmhouse museum), Rosenlaui area with glacier and gorge trail, Lake Lucerne, Grindelwald, Jungfraujoch, Kleine and Grosse Scheidegg, Titlis, Interlaken, Beatus Cave... The possibilities are endless.

Village description: Lungern is an idyllic, quiet village with many historic wooden houses. It is surrounded by mountains 2000 metres high and has a beautiful lake with the possibility of trout fishing. Here you can still feel the original rural life. There are many farms and alpine pastures. We have, among other things, an original restaurant in the rock, which also houses the underground shooting range. For discos and more entertainment (climbing hall, indoor swimming pool) Meiringen is very close, 15 minutes by car. The Lungern aerial cableway takes you to a beautiful hiking area with magnificent views and in winter you can go snowshoeing and ski touring. A winter sports centre for alpine skiing is 15 minutes away by car in Meiringen-Hasliberg.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
