General
The holiday home for 4 persons has two bathrooms and three bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with a fireplace and a TV (international channels). In addition there is a balcony, a barbecue and a garden (fenced). You can park your car on a parking lot (indoor). The badroom is equipped with a shower.
The holiday home has a freezer, a tumble dryer, a Internet connection (ADSL, ISDN, wireless) and a washing machine.

Detailed information
The 4.5-room chalet house from the 16th century is located in the historic village centre of the beautiful chalet village of Ringgenberg with a view of the Schynige Platte and the former minstrel's castle and today's castle church, on whose organ Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy already played.
The chalet is in a quiet and sunny location with a beautiful view of the mountains and is five minutes by train, bus or car from Interlaken. It is very comfortably furnished and is suitable for 4 adults or 2 adults and three children. (Third bedroom is a connecting room).
It is within short walking distance of restaurants and grocery shops and public transport.
The Chalet Gruebenhuus was inhabited by my grandparents and so I have been spending weekends and holidays here in Ringgenberg with my husband and our dog for many years and we always discover something new!
During the week we live and work in Zurich. We rent out our chalet a few times a year. We are happy when others also live in our chalet and enjoy it. We are always available to answer questions by phone. We have neighbours and friends on site who are available if necessary. Check-in is flexible and takes place via a key box. Detailed documentation is available, which we will be happy to send you shortly after booking or on request.
Note: The Brünig line runs in front of the house. A small train passes through 4 times an hour (but not at night). It doesn't make much noise and only lasts about 5 seconds. Railway fans are always delighted, as a steam locomotive also passes by from time to time.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
