Are you looking for a place where you can relax away from the chaos and enjoy the beauty of nature? Then our modern and stylishly renovated 2-storey flat is just the thing: it is located on a farm in the Gantrisch Nature Park - surrounded by forests, meadows, hills and with mountains and small rivers for swimming nearby. Enjoy our drinking water from our own spring, our hiking trails & viewpoints, starry nights and daily sunsets from the living area.
Modern comfort, rustic charm and the most beautiful views
Whether the weather is fine or rainy, the flat offers everything you need to make your home cosy: The lighting concept ensures a cosy ambience at all times and the fireplace stove warms you even on cooler days. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook and the private, spacious terrace offers you an additional dining table with midday and evening sun. Enjoy the marvellous view from the private balcony of the lovely hilly landscape with forests, where deer and foxes are out and about every day. For your sports training, the flat offers you a fitness corner, Wi-Fi and printer allow you to work comfortably from home and for entertainment and inspiration you will find selected literature, games and local works of art (no TV available). I personally designed the interior architecture with great attention to detail: It was important to me to make the old building structure visible, so that the traditional charm is preserved even with modern comfort.
Picturesque surroundings and outdoor activities
The flat is located in the Gantrisch Nature Park, which offers an inexhaustible and easily accessible variety of nature in the Bernese Pre-Alps (gantrisch.ch). The "Gantrisch Panoramaweg" is one of the most scenic hiking trails in the Bernese Pre-Alps (20 minutes' drive away), and the "Guggershörnli" hiking trail is also highly recommended. The small, natural bathing rivers "Schwarzwasser" or "Sense" offer you wonderful places to sunbathe and barbecue outdoors (5 or 20 minutes' drive away). Various wild herbs, mushrooms and elder trees grow in the surrounding area, where you can pick them for free (suitable for beginners: wild garlic). Every season invites you to go for a walk or hike - also directly from the house or from nearby viewpoints (e.g. "Bütschelegg"). In 35 minutes by car you can also reach the Fribourg Pre-Alps at the "Schwarzsee", where you can take a comfortable cable car up to the mountain peaks with restaurants. In winter, the Schwarzsee offers a medium-sized ski area with a wide range of facilities with the "Kaisereggbahnen".

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
