The Alpbauernhaus is situated on a hill. Easily accessible by 4x4 car. In a quiet, secluded location with a view of the Guggershörnli and its hilly surroundings. The house is simply furnished but cosy and spacious. The garden / grounds are fenced. Hot and cold running water in the kitchen and bathroom with shower. Situated in the Gantrisch Nature Park, the house is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails. Whether by bike or on foot to the warm Sense, a natural river for picnicking or barbecuing / swimming. Try the Gantrisch via ferrata together with friends or enjoy a romantic moonlit stroll by the Schwarzsee lake - there are many interesting possibilities around the house in the region.
In winter, kilometres of cross-country ski trails in the Gurnigel area and the beautiful ski slopes of Schwarzsee, Sellital, the children's ski lift in Riffenmatt and La Berra are tempting.
The nearby Gruyères Castle (23km) can be easily reached by car in an hour. The show dairy is a highlight of the Gruyère region. The folkloric customs and specialities such as merinque and double cream are a must-try. Good food shopping opportunities in the nearby village of Plaffeien (8km). A corner shop in Riffenmatt (5km)
