Detailed information
Holidays in a listed building combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a secure future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the "Ferien im Baudenkmal" foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.

Extras: The floors are made of wood and stone, which is why we recommend good slippers. There are many animals on the farm, which guests are welcome to visit at certain times. There is also the possibility to buy delicacies in the farm shop (fresh bread and braided butter on advance order). The hot tub and sauna can also be used for a fee.
Public transport: The Spycher is easily accessible by public transport: With the asm (Aare Seeland Mobil), which runs between Oensingen, Langenthal and Solothurn every half hour. From the railway station, walk up Solothurnerstrasse. Turn left and at the first junction turn right into Dorfstrasse. You will find the farmhouse at Dorfstrasse 4 directly opposite the village hall, about 200 metres from Attiswil railway station.
By car: Leave the A1 motorway at the Wangen an der Aare exit in the direction of Wiedlisbach. In Wiedlisbach take the junction at the main road on the left towards Solothurn. On leaving Wiedlisbach, turn right at the first junction towards Attiswil. Cross the railway crossing, then continue parallel to the bypass to Attiswil. In Attiswil, continue to the Bären restaurant (on the left on the main road), then turn right at the first junction into Dorfstrasse. Directly opposite the village hall you will find the farmhouse with the Spycher at Dorfstrasse 4.
Other kitchen equipment: Nespresso machine, capsules can be ordered. A wood cooker is also available.
IMPORTANT ADDITION
The Spycher is a listed building that has been renovated with great respect for the existing substance. The tenant is aware of this. Although it is equipped to modern technical standards, certain functional details such as window and door openers, flights of stairs and step heights do not comply with current standards and are a potential source of danger. The tenants are aware of these circumstances. The owner, e-domizil and the Foundation Ferien im Baudenkmal disclaim any liability.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
