The 2200 inhabitants village is located about 900 m above sea level above Lake Thun and is surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape. The mountain Niesen, (the largest pyramid in the world) embraces almost protectively the hills of Aeschi. Our house is located on the road between Aeschi and Aeschiried. It is livable and was completely renovated in 2008 and increased. The "Sunneggli" is very comfortably furnished and can accommodate up to 6 people. With beautiful kitchen, 1 living room, 3 bedrooms, TV, radio, telephone, 2 showers / WC, covered patio, large lawn, garage. A large playground and the bus stop are in the immediate vicinity. In the nearby village of Aeschi (1 km) there are all the shops for the daily needs (supermarket, bakery, butcher, newspapers, stationery, bank). In addition, the larger cities like Thun (10 min.) And Interlaken (15 min.) Or the easily accessible capital Bern (30 min.) Offer all shopping and shopping facilities. In the spa town of Interlaken (about 15 km) there is an 18 hole golf course. Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe: A highlight of every Swiss journey is an unforgettable day trip to the highest situated railway station of Europe and the alpine wonder world of ice and snow at 3454 meters. Lakes of Thun and Brienz: This beautiful lakes are the heart and the center of the Bernese Oberland. While you enjoy a good meal or a glass of wine on board of a ship while your eyes will rest by glancing at the lovely shores with the splendid historical castels and up to the highest mountain peaks.

Location description: Aeschi (860 m above sea level) and the somewhat higher situated Aeschiried (1000 m) lie on a sunny terrace and offer a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain panorama and of the Lake Thun. The original Peasant village is still marked of farming, folklore and tradition. If you want to escape the everyday hectic, you are just right staying with us. Aeschi offers an intact nature to refuel your batteries. Thanks to the very central situation, all the well known tourist destinations of the Bernese Oberland are very close. Aeschi is easy to reach both by public transport (train to Spiez and bus to Aeschi/Aeschiried) and by car. Apart from two grocery shops there are also a butchery, two bakeries, a cheese shop, two banks, a post office, 2 flower shops and a doctor.
