A warm welcome to a charming and very homely cottage with the brook babbling right next door, steps for a refreshing dip, access to the sauna and to the large garden. The house is red with white knots. The house is a family farm that dates from 1850 and where they carefully renovate and make sure to maintain a good standard with everything from wifi, kitchen, beds and facilities. The house offers 6 beds so perfect for the larger family or group that wants the peace of the country under starry skies. The bathroom was renovated in 2024 with bright furnishings and has a fresh interior with wc/washbasin and shower cubicle. There is also a washing machine, which is perfect if you are traveling with small children or staying longer. The kitchen is very homely and with a country style. Here the new meets the modern with the old. The kitchen offers seating for 6 people and the drawers and cupboards are well stocked with equipment. In the kitchen there is also an old wood stove that reminds of the cottage's origins and a beautiful installation. Firing in a stove is not permitted. Directly from the entrance is the house's one bedroom with two single beds with comfortable mattresses. The house's common room and living room are like taken out of a Swedish rural idyll. Here there is plenty of space to socialize and dinner can be enjoyed in the adjacent alcove with dinner table. The ceiling height in the house is 2.15, so if you are tall you have to watch out for door frames. The stairs up lead you up to the bedroom and another family room. The family room is just above the stairs with sofa and table. There are two large trunks that originated when the family emigrated to the United States and then returned and farmed the farm you live on. The bright bedroom has romantic light and pink furnishings with a double bed. The bedroom opposite is in the same charming, fine style with green colors. There are substantial wooden beams in the ceiling and each bedroom has a view of the yard. The garden is impressive and large. There is plenty of different seating. Classic Swedish coffee right outside or why not go down to the stream. Here you have a large balcony in a sunny position. There is also a barbecue area with logs from the ground around. The owners have made a sauna out of the old laundry room and here you can make a fire and get warm in the sauna and then cool off in the stream next to it. Firewood for the sauna and the barbecue area are available. The stream is clear and for a bath there is a fancy landing to easily take a dip. The cabin is isolated with the forest as a neighbor, which has many advantages. The owners have a fence around the entire plot, a so-called electric fence, to keep the wild boar out. It is very important that you always close yourself off when you are on site. The electric fence is always on. If you're lucky, you can see both deer, moose and other wild animals at dawn and dusk. There is a lot to do in the area and nice places to visit such as Evertorps Gård, Nuntorps Gård or going to the coast for the day. Nice dips in larger lakes can be found in Strömmersvik or Sikhall. The owners have prepared a binder with plenty of suggestions. Here you will enjoy yourself and have a wonderful stay. Welcome!

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
