The holiday home for 4 persons has a bathroom and two bedrooms and is equipped with a single bed, a double bed and a single folding bed. The holiday home is equipped with a TV, a heather and a heater. In addition there is a set of garden furniture, a sauna, a garden, a terrace and a barbecue. The badroom is equipped with a shower and a toilet.

The holiday home has a washing machine, a fridge-freezer, a Internet connection (wireless) and a tumble dryer.

The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, a stove, a convection microwave and a dishwasher.

Welcome to Sjövillan at the beautiful Herrestaviken on Herresta Säteri – a peaceful retreat where nature, lakeside living, and comfort come together in a unique setting. Here you stay with stunning water views in a calm and natural environment. The house has its own private jetty with access to a rowing boat. Start your day with a morning swim directly from the jetty, take a boat ride on the bay, or end the evening with a refreshing dip after a sauna session in the house’s private sauna. The tranquil surroundings make Sjövillan an ideal place for relaxation all year round. The house is spacious, airy, and tastefully furnished, with generous living areas and panoramic views over the lake. The two bedrooms are located in separate wings of the house for added privacy – one with a double bed and the other with a 120 cm single bed. An additional extra bed is available if needed. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for both relaxed breakfasts and enjoyable dinners. The dining area is positioned in front of large windows overlooking the water, offering a beautiful view while you eat. The living room features a fireplace and plenty of space for socializing, while a separate salon provides a quiet workspace for those who need to work or study during their stay. There is a bathroom with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The sauna is located in the opposite end of the house, creating a natural separation between relaxation and practical living areas. Herresta Säteri is located approximately 6 km from the charming town of Mariefred, known for its cobblestone streets, cozy cafés, small shops, and the historic Gripsholm Castle with its rich heritage and beautiful surroundings. The area also offers popular excursions such as Taxinge Castle and its famous pastry café, boat tours on Lake Mälaren, hiking trails, and scenic cycling routes. Lake Mälaren itself is only about 2 km from the house, offering even more opportunities to explore Sweden’s third-largest lake and its beautiful surroundings. It is possible to rent bedlinen. And if you would like to use the fireplace you can buy firewood at the property. Varm welcome

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
