Detailed information
In Smaland, in the southern part of Sweden, you will find the picturesque and typical Smaland house 'Lindhaga'. The house was built in 1950 and is located in the beautiful, sleepy village of Gåeryd overlooking Lake Rusken.
"Lindhaga" has been completely renovated both inside and out in 2017 and 2018 and will be rented out for the first time in autumn 2018. The house has approximately 80 square metres of living space, divided into a large living room, two bedrooms on the first floor, a modern kitchen and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The kitchen, living room and balcony have a fantastic view of Lake Rusken. After a short walk along a small street after about 300 m you will reach the bathing area. Here it is also possible to rent a boat and explore the lake or go fishing.
Alternatively, you can rent a bicycle and explore the area on it with its small, typically Swedish villages and red houses.
The property is approximately 1040 m2, has a wide gravel driveway and a beautiful lawn with barbecue area and garden furniture.
The entrance to the house, which is accessed by a few steps up, leads to a small hallway with a mirror, a coat rack and a small stool. To the left is a modern kitchen connected to a small pantry.
The bright kitchen is equipped with a wood-burning cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, as well as cutlery and china for 12 people. All necessary household items are available.
The kitchen table with 5 chairs offers a wonderful view of the lake at any time of the day.
Opposite the kitchen is a corridor leading to a large living room with a comfortable corner sofa, coffee table, bedside table and a large flat-screen TV with German channels.
From the corridor you reach the bathroom. It is functionally furnished and equipped with a toilet, sink, shower and washing machine.
Now climb the stairs to the small corridor.
Directly ahead is a spacious balcony. Here it is not difficult to spend some time dreaming and enjoying the magnificent views. The balcony is the ideal place to enjoy breakfast together or admire the sunset over the lake and the vast countryside with a glass of wine.
Both bedrooms are located on either side of the hallway. The large master bedroom is furnished with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00), two bedside tables, two typical Swedish "pin chairs" acting as bedside tables and a small wardrobe.
The second, slightly larger bedroom has two bunk beds, each of which can be pulled out to form a double bed measuring 1.60 x 2.00. The cosy character of the room is completed by bedside tables and two armchairs, two small wardrobes and a TV.
We usually make the handover and view the house in person, as we want you to start and end your stay with us satisfied and at ease. Please call us approximately half an hour before your arrival at the property.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
