In one of Halland's finest natural areas, this completely renovated cultural center is located. Next to the house is Dagså's old mill and here the Dagsåsån flows. The cottage is a rural idyll and tastefully furnished with all comforts. Here you have privacy and proximity to all the lovely hiking trails of Åkulla beech forests and all the attractions in the area. The house has a large, open and well-equipped kitchen with a dining area. The beautiful cast iron stove is just for decoration. There are two bedrooms, both with a double bed (one of which is 140 cm wide). The living room has a generous sofa bed and here there is a large modern smart TV. A beautiful tiled stove with lit candles creates a lovely atmosphere (fire ban). The bathroom is spacious and has a shower and combined washing machine/dryer. At the entrance there is a guest toilet. The cabin has broadband and free WiFi as well as a Bluetooth speaker. The entire interior is carefully selected to preserve the unique croft environment but with absolutely modern quality. In the courtyard there is a paved patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. The house is located near a country road that is quite busy during the day. Families with small children should be careful. The courtyard is normally monitored by camera due to risk of burglary, but the alarm is switched off during your stay. Within walking distance or a bike ride, there is a small swimming area at the beautiful Skärsjön. The nearest town is Tvååker, a thriving community with both bakeries and restaurants. For those who are interested in fishing, there are several lakes with e.g. Ottersjön, which is part of a common fisheries management area. Fishing license required. The area around Åkulla beech forests and several lakes offers a variety of exciting and interesting activities. Öströö sheep farm in the middle of the beech forest shows you around on a lamb safari, here you will find a craft cottage, a meat stall with lamb meat and other delicacies and the Fårhagen café with home-baked coffee bread. Ästad Vingård offers both relaxation and challenging activities 5km away. There is also a restaurant, swimming area and nice ski tracks in winter. There is also a popular swimming lake with a jetty here. A short drive away you will find Gekås in Ullared, Scandinavia's largest department store. A drive towards the coast and you reach the lovely summer towns of Varberg and Falkenberg. Here you can find both culture, nice shops and salty sea bathing.

Payment terms and -periods
A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.
If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
