Welcome to a perfect location with only 250 m to the sea and the mile-long sandy beach. The house is very homely and is nestled among other cottages in this summer idyll. Inside, the interior is bright and very homely. In total, this cottage offers seven sleeping places, two of which are in a guest cottage on the plot where there is a bunk bed with a family bed at the bottom, and an 80-bed for extra sleeping. This cozy cottage is located in the idyllic seaside resort of Skummeslövsstrand, which is known for its mile-long beach that awaits you. The beach closest to the house is shallow with a soft and fine sandy bottom and very family-friendly. The kitchen area is bright and the dining kitchen offers most of what you could wish for, there is also a dishwasher. There are three bedrooms in the house. One with a classic double bed of 180 cm. The second with a bunk bed and the third bedroom with a 120-bed. Skummeslövsstrand is a popular seaside resort with a mile-long sandy beach. If you get tired of the sea, there is a swimming pool about 2 km from your accommodation. There is also a kiosk by the pool with lighter meals. On the beach a short distance from the cottage there is a restaurant open in the summer where you can eat a delicious hamburger for lunch and have a cold drink after a dip, or why not let the children go and buy ice cream when the sun is hot. Inside the village there is a small grocery store and cafes, but also a newly opened bistro that serves everything from after-beach lunches to evening dinner with good drinks. If you want more shops, go to Mellbystrand, where there is a large grocery store, and seven km away is the medieval town of Laholm with its cobblestone streets and small shops with local crafts and restaurants. The larger town of Halmstad is about 20 km away and here you can find pretty much everything in the way of shopping. One of Sweden's largest tourist destinations, Gekås in Ullared, is an hour away by car. Don't miss taking the beautiful coastal road there or home as a bonus, follow the brown cultural route signs. Many beautiful beech forests with thousand-year-old paths and remains are only a couple of km from the house, e.g. Osbeck's beech forests. Another recreation and outdoor area you shouldn't miss is Hökafältet in Mellbystrand, where you can hike or jog among spruce forests, sea, beach, beech forests and gravel roads among cows and sheep, all in a blissful and varied mix. There is a lot to do and see here. The house is nice, well-planned and invites you to a nice holiday. Good to know: Company/corporate bookings are not permitted. The cottage is rented out as a holiday home only. Welcome!

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
