Detailed information
Beautiful old finca with a large garden in the countryside, not far from San Ferran, surrounded by fields and olive groves. From the house you have a view of the fields and San Ferran.
There is a beautiful large garden with typical vegetation: olive and baobab trees, pine trees, juniper bushes, yuccas, cacti, agave, and much more. The garden offers plenty of space and shady spots where you can relax undisturbed. Please note that some of the plants are very prickly (cacti, yucca, agave) so children should be made aware of the dangers. However, there are no snakes or scorpions on the island. The walls are dry stone walls, which are not suitable for climbing due to their construction. An outdoor barbecue and garden furniture are available. Parking is possible on the property.
The house was last renovated and tastefully furnished in 2010. The character of the old farmhouse has been retained. With its four bedrooms, the house offers enough space for eight people. Three rooms are furnished with double beds (1x200 x160, 2x200x140), one room with two single beds (200x90). The sala (living room) has a fireplace, an extendable dining table and a TV corner with sofa and LCD SAT TV with mainly German TV programmes. A small library offers books in German, English and French. In addition, a small child and a baby can be accommodated; a baby bed and a cot are available for this purpose. The kitchen is an extension with direct access to the two terraces. Adjacent to the rear terrace is the fourth bedroom and behind it the second bathroom. All beds are fitted with mosquito curtains so that you can spend the nights undisturbed. The bathroom in the house has a washbasin, toilet, shower and bidet. The outside bathroom has a washbasin, toilet and shower. Please store your valuables in the in-house wall safe.
The sea is approx. 1000 m away and in the nearby village, approx. 500 m away, you can find restaurants and shops.
Water is scarce in Formentera. Therefore, please be economical. The water in the house is cistern water. The rainwater is collected and stored in the cistern. Water is also supplied from the desalination plant. The water therefore does not qualify as drinking water, but is suitable for cooking, washing up, etc. If your water requirements exceed 7500 litres/week, the landlords would have to charge you separately for additional water supplies. It is recommended that you hire transport as it is possible but not convenient to walk to the beach and supermarket. There are numerous car, scooter and bicycle hire companies at the harbour, please do not smoke in the house and do not bring pets. If you smoke outside, please use ashtrays. Formentera is very dry in summer. Please be especially careful when handling fire. There is a contact person on site.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
