The villa is situated 200 metres from the village of Hrušica and is surrounded by greenery and forest. The nearest town is Podgrad which has a supermarket and restaurants and other facilities. It is a 25 minutes drive from the city of Trieste, 40 minutes from the Croatian city of Rijeka(Fiume) and seaside resort Opatija(Abbazia). The Slovenian medieval coastal town is 40 minutes away and Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital, is 1 hour away.
The villa was a former dairy built in 1902 which serviced the city of Trieste at the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and The Kingdom of Italy. It has been carefully renovated retaining it old world charm and ideal for a families, group of friends or interest groups. Each room is spacious.
There are 6 bedrooms , huge semi-professional kitchen, lounge with fire place and large dining facilities for 12 people.
A billiard table and club house outdoor facilities.
The outdoor area is very spacious and secluded from the village which provides the guest with total privacy.There is ample parking with grill and vast garden and terraces.
Ideal for children who do not need the constant supervision of parents.
Original stone work and no neighbours. Ideal for a retreat or for special interest groups(yoga, meditation, musicians)
Excellent mountain bike terrain and hiking at nearby Mount Slavnik. There are many bars and restaurants serving local specialities.
