Pleasant Villa full of character with a true Portuguese feel, in a peaceful place close to great views and the beach. Flowers, pots and trees are scattered throughout the romantic gardens and there are places to eat outside in summer. There is a private pool and sun loungers in a spacious, elevated setting. Next to the house, there is a cafe with fresh bread every morning and 2 supermarkets. A private garage is available. A wonderful place to sit, relax in complete privacy.
The perfect holiday home to enjoy with friends and/or family in any season of the year. A historic house (250 years of family heritage), remodeled with all modern comforts. Situated in an elevated area, with beautiful panoramic views, which include the huge Obidos saltwater lagoon and stunning rural landscape, close to Óbidos, a famous medieval village, with walls and a 12th century castle.
This two-story family house is tastefully furnished and decorated, has 4 bedrooms (1 with twin beds (2.05 m), 1 with a double bed and two with single beds), three bathrooms, one with a bathtub, the other with a shower and a toilet with toilet, cozy living room with satellite TV, library, Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen and two dining rooms (1 outside). Heating. Baby bed and chair are available, as well as toys and games.
Bed linen and towels are provided, including pool towels. In the garden there is a charming dining spot, decorated in a rustic style, with barbecue facilities. The romantic gardens have fruit trees, flower pots, flower beds, and a pergola under which there is a stone table and benches for eating outside in the summer. In a higher and more protected location, there is the private swimming pool (8x4m or 26 x 13 feet), with sun loungers and umbrellas. Private garage. All this in complete privacy.
Close to the huge Óbidos lagoon, Foz do Arelho and Baleal beaches, Praia del Rey Golf Course, one of the best in Europe. It is an area with beautiful beaches, museums, typical old villages, high cliffs like Nazaré, beautiful mountainous landscape, ideal for hiking, sightseeing, water sports, surfing, canoeing, etc.
The geographical location of the house allows guests to explore the center of Portugal, from the city of Coimbra, passing through the historic sites of Alcobaça, Batalha and Mafra, with their monuments, and the national nature reserve of Berlengas Island. The holy sanctuary of Fátima is just 94 kilometers (59 miles) away. In the south are Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra, with their wonderful palaces, castles, galleries, festivals and shopping malls, just around 85 kilometers (53 miles) away via highway. Along the way many restaurants can be found, allowing visitors to enjoy the famous Portuguese as well as international cuisine.
Guests have full access to the property, house, gardens, terrace and pool, all protected by walls and with complete privacy.
The Municipal Tourist Tax is applied to all guests staying overnight in establishments located in the Municipality of Óbidos. Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
