Detailed information
The cottage is located about 25 km south of the centre of Bergen, in Hagavik, a small village near Osøyro, with a slightly elevated position and a view over the landscape to the Folgefonna mountain massif. Extensive fishing, diving and hiking area with countless islands. The fjords are dotted with countless inhabited and uninhabited islands all the way to the open sea. A hiking area starts right behind the house. The detached house has 2 floors with separate entrances. The landlord lives on the second floor. A steep driveway about 50 metres long leads to the house.
The property has a 25m2 covered barbecue, smoking and fish filleting area, a table tennis table and a trampoline (4m) for children.
The ground floor, about 65m2, consists of a living room in Norwegian style, with a couch, 4 armchairs, a table, SAT TV German, CD, DVD and an open fireplace, a new fully equipped kitchen with cooker, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, combi fridge and cutlery / crockery, a bathroom with shower, sink, mirror cabinet and a washing machine, two bedrooms with wardrobe and two single beds each, which can also be put together. There is also an extra bathroom with toilet and washbasin. The bathrooms, bedrooms and entrance hall are fitted with underfloor heating. In the entrance area there is a heated landing for drying shoes.
A well-known excursion destination is the city of Bergen, 30 km away, with its fish market at the harbour and the surrounding harbour buildings, the aquarium, the bathing area, various museums, or the "Fløibanen", a steeply ascending tramway pulled by ropes. This ends at a vantage point with a stunning view over Bergen and its fjords. Nearby are the ruins of the 11th century Lysekloster monastery and the magnificent house museum of Ole Bull, a Norwegian musician - made entirely of wood. Only 45 minutes by car and you are in the winter ski area in Eikelandsdalen. The ski area in Jondal is about 3 hours away by car and is also open in summer. Both have ski lifts and hire facilities.
Holiday flat incl. free boat trip (2-3 hours) for bookings of 5 nights or more. A boat is not available for hire. German speaking contact person. Please note - there is a 50m steep driveway to the house. A travel cot and free internet are available.
