The holiday home for 8 persons has a bathroom and three bedrooms and is equipped with two double beds, two single beds and two bunk beds. The holiday home is equipped with a heather and a TV. You live directly above a self-service shop with opening hours from 9 to 23 and everything you need, including fresh bread rolls in the morning. Nearby is a fuel pump, perfect if you want to explore the area. Fishing equipment at the guest’s disposal. Gjøvdal offers great Norwegian nature experiences all year round. Enjoy the panoramic view where deer and moose often appear in the beautiful landscape, while beavers live in the Gjøv river and lakes. Fish for trout in the river or take a refreshing swim in one of the nice swimming areas. You can pick berries and mushrooms along the well-marked hiking trails or try geocaching. Adventurous people can try the Via Ferrata at Åmli. The area is also well suited for cycling trips for adults or families with children. Gjøvdalsdagene is at the end of July with activities for young and old. Elvarheim Museum in Åmli provides insight into local history and wildlife, while the Z Museum in Treungen (40 km) takes you on a nostalgic journey. In summer, there is the Treungen Festival; a lively music festival that brings together people from all over the region. In winter, Gjevden offers ice fishing, and the nearby cross-country trails provide great skiing opportunities. For downhill skiing, Gautefall Ski Center is only 50 km away. Please note that there is a steep staircase to the first floor, and the ceiling height upstairs is lower than on the ground floor.

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
