General

The holiday home for 10 persons has three bathrooms and five bedrooms and is equipped with six single beds and two double beds. The holiday home is equipped with a heather and two heathers. In addition there is a barbecue, a set of garden furniture and a garden and there are two terraces. You can park your car on four parkings. The badroom is equipped with two showers, three toilets, four washbasins, a steam shower and three baths.

The holiday home has a washing machine, a fridge-freezer, a tumble dryer and a Internet connection (wireless).

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, a microwave and an oven.

In Vriezenveen, this luxury farmhouse from 1880 is tucked away in the peaceful Twente countryside. Stay in a detached, stylishly furnished home where authenticity and comfort blend effortlessly. Warm up by the wood stove, relax in the Turkish steam bath and enjoy the tranquility, deliberately without a TV. It is all about slowing down, spending time together and truly getting away. Chickens, horses and ponies live on the property; someone occasionally visits to feed and care for them.

On the property, there is a charming farm-like environment with a hayloft, horses, and chickens, cared for by the owner. Occasionally, someone visits the stables to tend to the animals and feed them. The animals belong to the farm, and guests are warmly welcome to take a look at the animals and the stables. For families with children or dogs, there is a cozy, fully fenced inner garden where you can relax without worries. This inner garden is accessible through a gate connecting it to the stables and the rest of the yard.

Around Vriezenveen, you experience Twente in its purest and most tranquil form. This authentic ribbon village, formed along old trade routes and peat areas, exudes an atmosphere of days gone by. You drive past characteristic farms, green meadows, and winding roads where time seems to pass just a bit slower. From the holiday home, you can step straight into the Twente landscape, an area that invites you to slow down and reconnect with nature and each other.

For walkers and cyclists, this is a true paradise. The extensive nature of the Engbertsdijksvenen feels almost un-Dutch, with quiet ponds, wooden walkways, and rare birds visible above the peat. The Wierdense Veld and Fayersheide also offer endless routes through heathlands, forests, and open plains where you can wander for hours without encountering crowds. Those looking for a bit more adventure can discover challenging mountain biking routes and winding paths through the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park, where the heather turns a beautiful purple in late summer.

In the villages surrounding Vriezenveen, you can savor the warm, cozy atmosphere for which Twente is known. Sit down on a terrace in a charming brink village, visit a local market, or discover the region's history at the Veenmuseum Vriezenveenseveld and the Historical Museum. Here, you learn how life in this old peat area was shaped for generations by trade, turf extraction, and neighborly cooperation.

Even in winter, this area has something special. Mist lingers early in the morning over the fields, forests take on a serene silence, and after a refreshing walk, there’s nothing better than warming up together by the fireplace. Payment terms and -periods

The deposit is at least 35% of the total travel sum and optional insurances. The remaining amount must be paid no later than six weeks before departure. In case of departure within six weeks, the amount must be paid at once.
