The holiday home for 10 persons has two bathrooms and four bedrooms and is equipped with a twin trundle and four double beds. The holiday home is equipped with two stereos (wireless), a TV and a heater. In addition there is a sauna, an atmospheric fireplace, a boules court, a barbecue, a set of garden furniture, a hot tub, a porch, a billiard and a garden. You can park your car on six parkings. The badroom is equipped with five washbasins, a toilet, three showers and a massage shower.

The holiday home has a fridge-freezer, a Internet connection (wireless) and a fridge.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a convection microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and een afzuigkap.

Relax in the private wellness area with sauna and plunge pool, play a game of pool or enjoy the view on the covered terrace by the wood-burning stove or in the warm outdoor hot tub. Throw a ball on the boules court or enjoy long evenings at the table. Everything is taken care of down to the last detail, and here every moment feels like pure indulgence.

The surroundings of Holten feel like a warm blanket of nature, tranquillity and connection. As soon as you park your car and take in the view across the meadows, you know that time ticks just a little slower here. From the house, you walk or cycle straight into the countryside, where old oaks, farmyards and narrow country roads define the landscape.

Highly recommended is National Park Sallandse Heuvelrug, where rolling moors and dense forests combine to form one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Netherlands. Here you can hear the silence. In summer, the routes are ideal for an active day outdoors, while in winter, you can get some fresh air with a thick coat and warm scarf and then warm yourself by the outdoor fireplace of your veranda.

Holterberg is a beautiful nature reserve on the Sallandse Heuvelrug where you can take endless walks, cycle or mountain bike through forests, heathland and rolling hills. For children, there is a challenging play forest, while nature lovers will enjoy the Nature Museum Holterberg with its life-size dioramas. Along the way, you will pass pleasant terraces and have the chance to spot rare animals such as the black grouse, a unique experience in the Netherlands! Also visit a special piece of "Canadian territory": the Holten Canadian War Cemetery. The community donated this land (officially belonging to Canada) to give 1,394 fallen allied soldiers (mostly Canadians) their final resting place during the liberation of the northern and eastern Netherlands.

Families will find plenty of entertainment nearby, such as the cosy play farm Dondertman or Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. Culture lovers will be surprised by the historic centre of Deventer, with its cosy shopping streets, bookshops and coffee shops. Holten itself is also charming, with a village character and fine restaurants.

Whether you come for long walks, hours of after-dinner dining overlooking the fields, or just doing nothing in the comfortable lounge, here it is all about space, peace, and proper attention. This is one of those places where you feel at home within a day, and which you don't want to leave anymore.

Payment terms and -periods

The deposit is at least 35% of the total travel sum and optional insurances. The remaining amount must be paid no later than six weeks before departure. In case of departure within six weeks, the amount must be paid at once.
