The house in which this holiday flat is rented is located in a village called Venoz, at an altitude of 1,800 metres, and belongs to the municipality of Nus. The village consists of around 20 houses from the 18th century, which have been carefully restored using typical materials from the valley.
The south-facing balcony offers a beautiful view of Mount Emilius.
This house, however, was only built in 1993, but in traditional style and with local materials. The flat is on two levels. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen and living room, a bathroom with shower and two bedrooms with two single beds and a bunk bed. The room with the bunk bed is not available as a bedroom, but is nevertheless available to guests. It has a wardrobe and a cupboard with bed linen and towels. On the upper floor is an attic room with a French double bed (140 x 190 cm). One of the bedrooms also houses some personal belongings of the owners, who also use the house in their spare time. Of course, only when it is not rented out. Therefore, the flat contains books and personal belongings and is tastefully furnished with a washing machine, oven and dishwasher, gas heating, colour TV, stereo system, furniture, carpets, sheets, blankets and towels. In addition to the existing gas heating, there is also a pellet stove (full sacks are already in the house; the cost per sack is indicated under 'Firewood'). Of course, there are also cupboards for storing your personal belongings.
The surrounding area is very quiet and ideal for relaxation or meditation. Not far from the house, there is a cross-country skiing track and a snowshoeing route that wind through the enchanting Aosta Valley landscape. In summer, there are many interesting opportunities for walks. Many nearby hiking trails lead up to 2600 m, where the Cuney Oratory is located. The nearest village with shops and services is Nus, 16 km from Venoz. After another 11 km, you reach the city of Aosta, the capital of the Aosta Valley, with around 50,000 inhabitants. In Aosta you will find everything you need: a railway station, bus services connecting the capital with the surrounding valleys, a shopping centre, a beautiful pedestrian area with shops, bars, restaurants and historical monuments dating back to Roman times. There are no shops in Venoz, but in Lignan, a village about 1 km south of Venoz, which also houses an astronomical observatory, you will find a family-run restaurant and a small grocery shop. In Nus you will find a wider choice of grocery shops, a bakery, a pharmacy, a post office, a bank, etc. We recommend shopping there. The nearest airports are Milan Malpensa and Turin. It is possible to rent a car from the airport. The Saint-Barthélemy Valley is located in the centre of the Aosta Valley and from here it is easy to reach the Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso and Cervino mountains.
Adjacent to the house is a car park where you can park your vehicle. The flat's internet connection is available via USB stick. It is free of charge and includes approximately 3 GB of data per week. One adult dog is permitted; cats, unfortunately, are not allowed due to the risk of allergies. Dog owners are kindly requested to carefully vacuum the flat before leaving, although the final cleaning will still be carried out by the owner.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
