The holiday home for 3 persons has two bathrooms and a bedroom. The holiday home is equipped with a DVD player. The medieval watchtower of Ponte sull'Arno is located at the gates of the medieval municipality of Pratovecchio. Built by the Counts Guidi in the mid-11th century, it is the first historical building that, together with the ancient walls, surrounded the town of Pratovecchio.

Here, you can spend an enchanting stay and also organise your wedding immersed in history: after careful restoration, a beautiful independent residence with every comfort and air conditioning has been created. The medieval tower is spread over three floors over an area together with the terrace of approximately 100 square metres. Access is on the 1st level via the typical wooden staircase (33 steps) and leads into the hallway equipped with a clothes hanger and entrance to the master bedroom (20 sq m) with majestic walls that have been skilfully built and restored, enriched with decorations reminiscent of the feudal period. In each wall of the cosy room there are typical slits overlooking the Arno river and the garden. Inside the room there is access to the private bathroom (4 sq. m.), created in keeping with the architectural forms of the structure and equipped with WC, bidet, shower and antique marble washbasin. From the hallway a staircase leads to the bright living room (28 sqm) with antique sofa, armchairs, satellite TV, dining table with four chairs, storage room and characteristic wooden kitchen equipped with: fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, two burners and antique marble sink. From the living room, a staircase with nine steps leads to the loft (10 sq. m.) with a comfortable single bed and a second bathroom enriched with external decorations showing the various castles of the Valley and equipped with WC, bidet and washbasin. From the loft a few steps lead to the panoramic terrace. Internet access must be booked (for a fee).

The jewel in the crown of the medieval tower is undoubtedly the enchanting panoramic terrace (35 sq m) with views over the Casentino Valley and the medieval castles of Poppi, Romena and Porciano. The terrace is equipped with a Jacuzzi, solarium, night lighting, roof garden, lava stone barbecue, drinking water, dining table and chairs. Enchanting romantic candlelight dinners under the stars can be organised here.

On request possible use of the swimming pool about 1.5 km away, to be shared with other guests, or the Arno river bordering the residence. The owners await guests with their specialities, either on arrival or every mid-week. The tower does not have a washing machine, but there is a laundry room in the centre of Pratovecchio.

The Adriatic Sea is approx. 90 minutes away and the Tyrrhenian Sea approx. 120 minutes by car. It is possible to bathe in the lake, which is approx. 1.5 km from the centre of Pratovecchio, or at Stia in the Arno river. Excursions can be made to the Poppi zoo park, the Verna Sanctuary, the Camaldoli hermitage and the Casentino national forest park. Florence and Arezzo are 50 minutes away by car, Siena 80 minutes. From Arezzo it only takes an hour and 5 minutes by fast train to Rome, so day trips to the capital are also possible.

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
