The sun, the aromas of herbs and the homely atmosphere of the house characterise this small corner of Tuscany at all times of the year. Podere Le Ligoracce offers the possibility of experiencing nature in a truly total way, immersed in the genuine sounds and scents of the countryside.
ACTIVITIES Gentle strolls, Trekking and Mountain Biking From the farmhouse there are several paths for peaceful walks in the surrounding hills thick with Mediterranean maquis woods, free trails between cliffs and streams, perfect for those who want to do sport in nature. Bikes, motorbikes, horses and surroundings The roads leading to the farmhouse are immersed in the most classic Tuscan landscape, shaped by the gentle curves of the hills with their perched villages. Riding a bike or motorbike, you can enjoy all their beauty. Bees, olives and nature At the Podere there is a small but laborious bee-keeping activity and you can taste the local honey that has all the flavour and aroma of the Mediterranean maquis!
Libeccio' LODGINGS SLEEPING ACCOMMODATION : SLEEPS 2 It is located at the front of the farmhouse and overlooks the porch with a view of the sea, the hills and the charming lake of S. Luce. Equipped with a double bed, an equipped kitchenette and private bathroom with shower, it overlooks a private portion of the porch, furnished with a table and chairs for cool summer evenings.
SURROUNDINGS Castellina and surroundings Many of the villages within a few minutes' drive from the Podere offer various places of interest. The WWF oasis at the picturesque Lake S. Luce for nature and wildlife enthusiasts. The famous Buddhist centre of Pomaia for those seeking a place of peace and strong spirituality. To recover from hot days at the beach or invigorating treks in the countryside, there is nothing better than the beautiful Terme di Casciana. The sea and beaches 20 minutes away are the nearby beaches of Castiglioncello and Vada. About 45 minutes away are the beaches of Bibbona, Donoratico and the beautiful Gulf of Baratti. The coast offers the possibility of snorkelling and diving. On request, it is possible to attend courses under the guidance of a PADI instructor or simply be accompanied on dives. From Piombino (approx. 1 h) you can also embark for the islands of the Tuscan archipelago!
