Punta Secca is a small fishing village characterised by the presence of a small formation of rocks in front of the main beach. It is called 'A sicca' by the inhabitants because of its characteristic cliff formation that stretches at water level in front of the eastern beach. Once an important commercial port, it is now a small marina for pleasure boats and fishing boats, dominated by the lighthouse that was built in 1853 and is 34 metres high.
In the tower square is the house of 'Commissario Montalbano', made famous by the television series of the same name. It is not possible to visit the house inside, but it is nevertheless a destination for thousands of fans of the series who go there on purpose, if only to take a photo in front of the terrace of Italy's most famous detective.
Hundreds of tourists now flock to the charming golden beaches of Punta Secca during the summer season, thanks also to the presence of several restaurants, bars and clubs that liven up the evenings in the ancient village. The development of tourism, however, has not altered the typical atmosphere of the small Sicilian seaside villages: the air of simplicity that one breathes as one strolls through the small square, the sight of fishermen intent on working on the small boats in the small harbour, and the possibility of enjoying free beaches make Punta Secca a heart where the typicality of the sea and of Sicily still pulsates.

A family or a couple that wants to spend a relaxing holiday in a quiet place, just a few minutes from the sandy beaches of Punta Secca and Marina di Ragusa, in a strategic position for visiting the Unesco heritage baroque towns of the Val di Noto (Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli).

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
