Baglio Spanò B&B is located along a farm road that winds its way through the vineyards that lap the coastline until it reaches the imposing tufa walls of the baglio (bagghiu, in Sicilian slang), a fortified farm with a large courtyard, which encloses old warehouses, the manor house, stables and cellars, now skilfully restored and part of the bed & breakfast.
The accommodation is called Grecanico, a bright room located on the upper floor of the Baglio.
It is accessed from the refined lounge on the first floor. Ideal for stays of 2 people.

The courtyard inside is the beating heart of Baglio Spanò, an area dedicated to relaxation and conviviality.
Comfortable sofas, a good book, here our guests can find their serenity during a holiday in Sicily.

The courtyard outside tells of sunny afternoons in the controra, when all is silent and you can hear the cicadas accompanying the afternoon hours with their chanting cries. The sun warms and colours the garden flowers, succulents and citrus trees. An old world, minimalist and essential as life used to be.
The swimming pool surrounded by trees makes relaxing in the silent, fragrant garden even more enjoyable and offers an excellent alternative to the nearby beaches or returning from the many cultural, maritime and gastronomic day trips.

Baglio Spanò, the former summer residence of the ancient Montalto Spanò family, is home to one of the most fascinating and authentic bed & breakfasts in this part of Sicily, and is an architectural expression of aristocratic and peasant Sicily, a unique residential setting amidst numerous hectares of vineyards, about 700 metres from the sea and equidistant from Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, from which it is about 13 km away.

Our B&B is located near the sea in Sicily. The beaches of the Petrosino coastline can all be easily reached within a few minutes' drive. Among the areas most popular with visitors are Lido Biscione and Capo Feto
the latter characterised by its fine white sand and crystal-clear sea.
The Capo Feto beach is a true Caribbean paradise.
Sicily, one of the most popular holiday destinations for Italians, among beautiful beaches and incredible monuments, offers many destinations not to be missed.
Petrosino, this town in the province of Trapani, overlooks the Mediterranean Sea.
Its location is idele for those looking for a B&B in Sicily near the sea.
A favourite destination for seaside holidays in Sicily is Capo Feto, 4 km away.
Other destinations not to be missed are Mazara del Vallo and Marsala, which are important for the number of monuments in the historic centre.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
