General

The holiday home for 5 persons has a bathroom and two bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with an air conditioner, a swimming pool (private), a barbecue, a terrace and a garden (fenced). You can park your car on a parking lot (indoor). The badroom is equipped with a shower.

This villa is located in the gulf of Castellamare, immersed in the countryside 4-5 min from the beach. Very white, it is in a charming and sunny minimalist Mediterranean style with a classic gabled roof, developed longitudinally as is typical of the place; its poor character makes it noble and at the same time sweet. The house, built and owned by a couple of architects who love the countryside, the sea and tranquillity, expresses all the charm of which only the Sicilian countryside is capable, with its strong aromas, dense colours and wonderful light.

The house has a large solarium to the south between the swimming pool (4x8 metres, maximum depth 1.2 m) and the house. There is also a large terrace to the south and a cool porch to the north that is excellent for summer breakfasts. There is also an outdoor shower (also equipped with hot water) to cool off or to access the pool.

The villa offers 120 qm living space on two floors and can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons.
The house has air conditioning in the double bedrooms and a pellet stove in the living room for the winter season. It consists of two double bedrooms, an en suite bathroom, a kitchen, a hallway and a spacious living room. In the living room there are two very comfortable sofas which are in fact two single beds and would therefore accommodate any additional guests in addition to the first 4. In the double rooms it is also possible to place camp beds for children. The house is equipped with an efficient alarm system that allows the control of some services also telematically (gate opening, alarm activation and deactivation, swimming pool motor ignition, outdoor lights, etc.).

It is possible to go horse-riding (there is a riding school nearby); if you don't feel like cooking in the evening, a few metres away you will find a risto-pizzeria or in 20-25 minutes you can reach the lively Castellamare del Golfo with a wide range of clubs and restaurants by the sea; don't miss the evening stroll along the Balestrate main street. We rent the house for holidays in Balestrate or as a base for visiting Sicily; on request we prepare dinners to taste typical dishes including fresh fish. The house is very close to the Calatubo beach with the dunes and pine forest behind it. This beach offers strong emotions for its spectacular view of the gulf. Nearby: the Zingaro reserve, the Faraglioni of Scopello, the Greek Theatre and the Temple of Segesta, the village of Erice and the cities of Palermo and Alcamo.

My wife and I are a couple of young architects who love Mediterranean architecture, in fact Casa Zabbara is in perfect Mediterranean style according to the canons of buildings with gabled roofs.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
