This elegant guest cottage is actually a historic chalet dating back to 1798. The charming little building is part of a modern B&B and is available all year round. It offers 40 m² of living space on one level and was completely renovated and refurbished in 2017. This spacious room for four has its own entrance and private veranda in a B&B with a large garden and shared swimming pool, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Mount Etna National Park.
Guests of the chalet have a small covered veranda at their disposal, equipped with a garden table and four chairs. In addition, you can make use of the B&B's large communal area, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Mount Etna National Park. The 2,000 sqm property includes a beautiful garden with a table tennis table, a large swimming pool, sun loungers, and a barbecue area. There is also ample parking within the fenced property.
The private entrance is on the ground floor. The bright living room is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a modern sofa. If necessary, it can be used as a comfortable sleeping place for two more persons (165 x 195 cm). The parquet floor and the high ceiling with wooden beams give the room an elegant and cosy atmosphere. In summer the air conditioning ensures a pleasant room temperature and in winter the wood-burning fireplace creates a wonderful atmosphere. Like the living area, the bathroom was also renovated in 2017 with great taste and high-quality materials. It has a washbasin, toilet, bidet and a modern barrier-free shower. Wireless internet access (WLAN) is available.
The B&B is about 600 m from the centre of Milo, which is part of the Etna National Park. There is a grocery shop about one kilometre away. Milo is a very touristy town in the province of Catania, called the 'City of Wine and Music'. Famous not only for its wines, but also for the numerous festivals and events that take place throughout the year. From Milo, numerous excursions can be made to discover the wonderful natural landscape of the national park. Mount Etna can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. In winter, the ski slopes on the slopes of the volcano can also be easily reached from here. You can discover many popular tourist destinations in Sicily with day trips throughout the year, such as: Taormina, Syracuse, Catania, Sant'Alfio, Zafferana Etnea, Nicolosi, Linguaglossa, Acireale or the Alcantara Gorges.
Please note that this accommodation is a guest room. Breakfast (sweet or savoury) is served daily in the lounge with fireplace and, in the warmer months, also on the terrace or in the garden.
