Location overview
San Vito dei Normanni is a small town in Alto Salento of about 18,000 inhabitants. The town grew up around the Dentice di Frasso Castle, a treasure trove of history where the King of Italy, Victor Emmanuel III, stayed.

San Vito dei Normanni has been a favourite location for filmmakers for years.

Scenes from Leone Pompucci's 'Il grande botto' (2000), one of the institutional commercials for the introduction of the Euro in 2001 and the video clip of the song 'Le rane' by Baustelle in 2010 were filmed here. But its name will remain linked to two recently produced films: 'L'uomo nero' by Sergio Rubini (2009) and 'Latin lover' by Cristina Comencini (2015), with an exceptional international cast. It was also Virna Lisi's last work.
And lastly 'Più forti del destino' (Stronger than destiny) starring Loretta Goggi and Laura Chiatti.

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
