The flat is very bright and airy and has been completely renovated and air-conditioned.
One enters into a very large living room with television and sofa bed, to one side a very large kitchen from which there is access to a small uncovered terrace with shower and outdoor pilozza, to the front a balcony with small table. There are two bathrooms, one of which has a shower, a wardrobe, and three bedrooms.
It is located in a quiet street with little traffic but only a few metres (200) from the centre.
In the immediate vicinity there are grocery shops, greengrocers, butchers, fishmongers, a bakery, a pharmacy, newsagents, tobacconists, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, bicycle hire, and an open-air market on Sunday mornings.
The sea waters are crystal clear and it is possible to swim from the low cliffs, fish or watch the fabulous sunsets over the sea.
About 200 metres away is a bathing establishment with delightful natural inlets between the rocks where children can bathe safely.
About 300 metres away is a sandy beach with a kiosk where you can rent parasols, deckchairs, sunbeds, pedalos and other equipment to practice your favourite water sports.
About 1.5 km away is a long sandy beach.
Thanks to the nearby motorway, it is possible to reach every site of interest in Salento. Lecce with its baroque is only 40 km away.
Otranto on the other side, the Adriatic, 45 km.
Gallipoli is only ten minutes away by car.
A few kilometres north of S.ta Maria al Bagno is the wonderful natural park of Porto Selvaggio with 400 hectares of pine forest and 7 km of breathtaking coastline. There is also a museum in the village that collects the testimonies of thousands of Jewish holocaust survivors who passed through S. Maria al Bagno between 1943 and 1947.

By Car: Motorways to Bari: both the A1 from Milan Rome Naples Bari and the Adriatica Bologna Ancona Bari From Bari motorway to Brindisi Lecce Gallipoli From the motorway to Gallipoli take the exit for Galatone S.Maria al Bagno , and then Quattro Colonne.
By plane: arrive at Brindisi Airport (distance from Santa Maria al Bagno Km 60). There is a shuttle service to the Lecce terminal from where buses leave for S.Maria al Bagno Car hire or local transport.
By train: arrival at Lecce railway station then local buses to Nardò and S.Maria al Bagno

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
