Detailed information
CASA ANCARANO is a charming, renovated historic farmhouse made from the white rock of Monte Conero and is situated on a hillside in the naturally protected Parco del Conero with breathtaking panoramic views all around.
The guest area is independent and separately accessible via the large outdoor staircase with loggia. The living areas (135 square metres) on the upper floor of the historic main house with a private garden are rented exclusively for families and friends of up to 6-8 people who want to enjoy a special ambience with plenty of space and tranquillity.
The central parlour with its eat-in kitchen is the heart of the house, where guests sit at an old cherry wood table from the 18th century, on whose marble top pasta used to be rolled out. The terrazzo tile floors are handmade and come from a traditional regional company. An open fireplace and air conditioning ensure a cosy atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped, including an induction hob, extractor bonnet, toaster, kettle, high-quality cookware and white porcelain.
Restored antiques from the area give each room its own character. The sleeping accommodation for up to 8 people consists of two double bedrooms with air conditioning, one double bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds that can be combined as desired. Extra beds or cots are available on request.
The two bathrooms are accessible from the gallery and have natural light, spacious brick-built showers, washbasins, WC, bidet and a washing machine. Bed linen and towels are included.
In the private garden area there are tables, chairs, parasols and sun loungers, as well as a barbecue and an outdoor shower. With its own lavender field, vines, fruit and almond trees, pine trees and olives, the 5000 square metre garden is an oasis with plenty of opportunities to relax.
Hiking trails directly from the front door lead along various routes and trails into the nature reserve of the Parco del Conero.
La Riviera del Conero is only 3 kilometres away and is considered one of the most beautiful landscapes on the Adriatic.
No other tenants are present during your stay. The hostess is accommodated in a side part of the building - far enough away to maintain peace and privacy; and close enough to be available for advice and assistance or to make reservations for your favourite restaurant.
