Chalet San Gervasio was recently renovated using natural materials to blend harmoniously with the landscape, thus becoming part of the rural architecture that preserves tradition and history in Teglio. The Chalet is built on several floors characterised by the use of wood; one enters through a small doorway where there is a hallway that leads via a flight of stairs to the first floor. One finds oneself in a spacious living room, which has a wall equipped as a kitchen, a French window opening onto the balcony, a comfortable table, a sofa bed, a pantry and TV, free wifi. Next to the living room is a double bedroom with wardrobe and the bathroom with shower and bidet. A second staircase leads to the attic floor, which houses an area furnished as a bedroom. Both floors have beamed ceilings. On the ground floor, the Chalet offers a characteristic games/relaxation room, equipped with a billiard table that converts into a ping-pong table, which leads to a pretty little garden with a view of the mountain, where you can sunbathe and dine thanks to the outdoor furniture and barbecue. Free private parking is available.
Looking out from the balconies, the house offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley that gives it its name: Vallis Tellina, with its villages, mountains and the course of the River Adda. Teglio, a characteristic village in Valtellina, is an Alpine village with a strong bond with nature and offers a serene environment, immersed in nature and rich in tradition, art and culture; the quality of life is high with a more relaxed pace than in large cities. Just 15 minutes away is the Alpe Teglio ski resort, which, with its 10 km of easy and medium-difficulty ski slopes, snowboarding, school camp and itineraries for snowshoeing and ski mountaineering, is a family-friendly resort, the perfect destination for quiet holidays. Its scenic characteristics have led it to be part of the circuit of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, thanks to its historical and artistic offerings, and it is a summer and winter resort. Moreover, Teglio is a certified Slow City, thanks to the quality of its hospitality, good food and the preservation of its historical, artistic and natural aspects. It is part of the Italian Network of the Cities of Good Living and for this reason it is increasingly chosen as a destination for family holidays. Teglio is known for its gastronomy, so much so that it is considered the gastronomic capital of Valtellina.
The municipality is served by a railway station that makes it possible to reach Milan in about 2 hours and 30 minutes. The centre is located at an altitude of about 900 metres with fairly cold temperatures in winter. Palazzo Besta, an ancient 16th-century building in typical Valtellina Renaissance style. The so-called 'little palace in the Alps', once the home of the noble Besta family, is now a museum and also houses the Antiquarium Tellinum, where archaeological finds discovered in the area are exhibited. Mulino Menaglio, where you can see the threshing of wheat and admire the local tradition , Church of Santa Eufemia, an important religious building and starting point of the Teglio - Tirano stage of the Cammino Mariano delle Alpi, consecrated in 1117 and ancient seat of the Pieve della Castellanza di Teglio. The building is located within the "sacred enclosure" that also houses the Oratory of the Whites and Blacks and the ossuary of the old cemetery. Not far away is the Romanesque church of San Pietro, the oldest in the village, dating back to the 11th century. Torre de li Beli Miri, an ancient tower that stands on top of the pine forest as the only legacy of the ancient Castrum Tilii - castle of Teglio. The suggestive Somasassa lake. The rock engravings in the Caven area. The centre of Teglio is about 2.5 km away Aprica is 21 km from the holiday home, while Passo del Bernina is 49 km away, Edolo 32 km, Bormio 50 km, Livigno 85 km. (approx. one and a half hours) Tirano can be reached in about 20 minutes (km. 13) and then you can enjoy an unforgettable experience on the Bernina train and get to Saint Moritz Both Saint Moritz and Lake Pontresina are about an hour and a quarter away by car (approx. 67 km.) Lake Como can be reached in about an hour by car Bergamo-Orio al Serio Airport is 138 km away.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
