Located just 1 minute from the beach, this airy first floor apartment sleeps 4. This modern apartment with sea view is located in the heart of Monterosso, in the Cinque Terre. The entrance is via a charming flight of steps through a shady wood. It is ideal for all ages, whether you want a beach vacation or to explore the panoramic hiking trails along the coast.Monterosso is the largest of the 5 towns in the Cinque Terre. It has two sandy beaches where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas for a day by the sea. More adventurous visitors can rent a kayak and explore the nearby coastline.
 

The corner apartment is full of light. The sunny living room has a sofa, flat-screen TV, fireplace and a glass dining table for 4. French windows open onto the private balcony, with views over the beach. The separate, modern kitchen is well-equipped with a large cooker hob, oven, coffee maker, washing machine and a fridge/freezer. There is also a breakfast bar in the kitchen for quick snacks.

Monterosso is famous for its annual Lemon Festival, held on the third Saturday of May, when the town comes alive with beautifully decorated houses and offers a wide variety of lemon-based treats to taste. Beyond the beach, visitors can explore stunning hiking trails along the Sentiero Azzurro, which links all five Cinque Terre villages. The town is well connected, with a regular ferry service along the coast and a train station just a 3-minute walk from the apartment. For self-catering, a weekly farmers market takes place on Thursday mornings, offering the best local produce, while a supermarket is available for daily needs. Additionally, Monterosso boasts numerous excellent restaurants and cafés, catering to a range of tastes and budgets.

Payment terms and -periods

The initial deposit is 30% of the rent and any covered insurance. The second payment must be paid no later than six weeks before you leave. If you leave within nine weeks, you must pay the full amount in one installment.
