Just a minute's walk from the beach, this bright ground floor apartment is located in the heart of Monterosso, one of the iconic villages of the Cinque Terre. The building is reached via a charming staircase that winds through a shady wood, adding to its authentic atmosphere. Perfect for all ages, the apartment offers easy access to both the sandy beaches and the scenic hiking trails that connect the Cinque Terre towns. For those seeking adventure, kayaking along the stunning coastline is also an option. Monterosso, the largest of the five villages, is well positioned for exploring the region, with Pisa International Airport approximately 1 hour 40 minutes away and Genoa International Airport just 1 hour 45 minutes by car.

The entrance to the building is via a charming series of steps through shaded woodland. The front door opens into a hallway with the rooms leading off the central corridor. The open-plan living area includes a sofa, a pine dining table with 4 chairs and a kitchenette which is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine and a fridge.

Monterosso is famous for its annual Lemon Festival, held on the third Saturday of May, when the town comes alive with beautifully decorated houses and offers a wide variety of lemon-based treats to taste. Beyond the beach, visitors can explore stunning hiking trails along the Sentiero Azzurro, which links all five Cinque Terre villages. The town is well connected, with a regular ferry service along the coast and a train station just a 3-minute walk from the apartment. For self-catering, a weekly farmers market takes place on Thursday mornings, offering the best local produce, while a supermarket is available for daily needs. Additionally, Monterosso boasts numerous excellent restaurants and cafés, catering to a range of tastes and budgets.

Payment terms and -periods

The initial deposit is 30% of the rent and any covered insurance. The second payment must be paid no later than six weeks before you leave. If you leave within nine weeks, you must pay the full amount in one installment.
