General

The holiday home for 2 persons has a bathroom and two bedrooms and is equipped with a single bed and a double bed. The holiday home is equipped with a radio, a heather, a heater and a TV. In addition there is a garden and a terrace and there are two sets of garden furniture. You can park your car on a parking lot (for rent). The badroom is equipped with a washbasin and a shower.

The holiday home has a fridge and two freezers.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a coffee maker, a stove, a dishwasher and an oven.

The property enjoys an absolutely peaceful location on a cul-de-sac and private road, surrounded only by farms. Hiking trails start right at the doorstep. The charming towns of Schull, Skibbereen, and Bantry are within easy reach. West Cork's most beautiful beach (Barley Cove) is nearby. The rocky coastline is within walking distance, where dolphins, sea otters, grey seals, harbor seals, gannets, whales, and basking sharks can be regularly spotted. Idyllic little coves are also in the immediate vicinity.

SKYFALL Cottage is located next to the owner's lodge. It features a living/dining room with satellite TV (Irish and German channels), a large kitchen with a hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator with separate freezer, dishwasher, food processor, toaster, kitchen scales, crockery, and all necessary kitchen utensils. There is a double bedroom with a large double bed (150 cm wide) and a single bedroom (single bed 190 cm x 90 cm) with a built-in wardrobe and hotplate. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower. Towels, a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, and toilet paper are always provided, as is bed linen.

The entire cottage has been completely and extensively renovated. A large terrace in front of the living/dining room offers unobstructed views of the valley, bay, and sea. All rooms have windows!

Leisure activities: Freshwater and saltwater fishing. Salmon and sea trout fishing in five productive rivers is particularly noteworthy. Since we fish here ourselves, we can arrange guiding and obtain the necessary licenses.

You can enjoy golfing, sailing, paddling, surfing, hiking, relaxing in the garden, and simply unwinding. Guests should enjoy animals; we currently have horses/ponies, ducks, a crowing rooster and chickens, as well as a farm dog.

Wi-Fi and parking are included.

Important: The owner expressly points out that the rental property is located on a farm-like property (with all the typical potential hazards). Therefore, in the event of possible damage/injury resulting from, for example, falls in the entire outdoor and stable area, improper crossing of fences, entering the pasture areas, etc., the tenant expressly waives any kind of claim for damages upon signing the rental agreement.

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
