The house was built in the middle of a large plot (4,500 square metres) in a quiet location on a slope.
The terraced garden, which is planted with all kinds of colourful flowers and a whole range of different fruit trees (mandarin, orange, apricot, lemon, fig, olive, banana and many more), borders on large pieces of rock which blend in harmoniously, giving the house a majestic appearance. The swimming pool (7 m x 12 m) with children's pool has been generously laid out over an area of approx. 500 square metres. The variety of views and the magic of the landscape never cease to amaze and captivate you. The guests of this property are spoilt with a unique panoramic view of the countless bays of the Mirabello Gulf, all the way to Agios Nikolaos. Tables and chairs are available on the terraces and balconies, all covered with pergolas. In the garden there is a traditional Cretan brick oven with a barbecue area where you can prepare bread and various Greek dishes. Next to it is a marble table with benches. Here you can savour the food you have just prepared under the shade of the trees and the fragrant air. Another pleasure is the marvellous view of the sea from up here. This is an image that will stay with you for a long time. The property is fenced. Your children can run around on this very large property without any worries (there is also a sandpit).
This holiday flat has two bedrooms, one with a double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m), the other with two single beds (0.90 m x 2.00 m), bedside tables, wardrobe and mirror. The living room is furnished with a canapé, which serves as a fifth sleeping option, table, chairs and TV. From the living room you have access to the large balcony-terrace, from which you have a wonderful view of the sea and the countryside. The kitchen integrated into the living room is fully equipped with upper and lower cupboards, a cooker with electric hobs, fridge, coffee machine and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. The flat has a safe, Wi-Fi, television and air conditioning. The furniture in the house is made of solid wood, the bathrooms and kitchens are tiled and the floors are made of beautiful white marble.
After a delightful drive from Agios Nikolaos (11 km), in a south-easterly direction, parallel to the sea, along a particularly scenic panoramic coastal road with many inviting bays, varied sublime views of headlands, small islands and marvellous sandy beaches, you reach "Istron". The house is surrounded by an enchanting landscape, criss-crossed by hills and mountains, mostly covered with cedar trees, which is ideal for walks and hikes. Small and large bays alternate with golden sand and pebbles. After about 550 metres you reach the first bay with a long beach (one half with fine sand, the other with pebbles). In these bays, which are so different in character, you have the opportunity to do something different every day. There is a good bus service from the house to all parts of the island. Shopping facilities and tavernas with Greek specialities can be found in the immediate vicinity.
