Our holiday home, stylishly renovated in 2024, is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest, the "green heart of Germany".
Our holiday home lives up to its name: a panoramic view of the beautiful natural surroundings awaits you. You won't find any street noise or hectic everyday stress here. Instead, you will wake up to the sound of birdsong.
The holiday home borders directly on the forest and is a perfect starting point for hikes or bike tours on well-signposted paths. The Rennsteig, Germany's oldest hiking trail, is right on the doorstep.
Our holiday home is available to rent all year round, because every season has its own charm: in spring the trees are in bloom and the birds are chirping, in summer you can refresh yourself at the nearby mountain lakes. Autumn walks in the colourful foliage and mushroom picking are just as beautiful as snowy winter days, which you can spend cross-country skiing on groomed trails, snow tubing or on a horse-drawn carriage ride.
Savour the good Thuringian cuisine and round off the day in our in-house barrel sauna.

The holiday home was completely renovated in 2024 and offers modern furnishings for a maximum of 4 people. The 65m² living space is spread over two floors: On the ground floor there is a large living room with sofa bed and TV as well as a fully equipped kitchenette (hob, fridge with freezer compartment, mini oven, toaster, kettle, egg cooker), a daylight bathroom with shower and the large hallway.
On the upper floor is the bedroom with a double bed and another sleeping possibility as well as a balcony.
Outside you will find rustic garden furniture, a large, well-kept lawn with sun loungers, a garden pond and a barbecue area with a fireplace.
We have built a barrel sauna for our guests, which can be heated for a fee. One use of the sauna is included for stays of 7 nights or more.
A car parking space is directly at the house.
Pets are welcome on request. A fenced area is available if required.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
