Discover our charming guest house in the heart of the historic town centre of Ilfeld, surrounded by the breathtaking mountains of the southern Harz, which are up to 600 m high. Our house, lovingly built in half-timbered style around 1800 and originally used as Ilfeld's first school, pampers its guests with a familiar atmosphere and unique charm.

In the cosy holiday flat "Burgberg", which is designed for up to 4 people and extends over approx. 60m² on the 2nd floor, you will find everything you need for a relaxing stay. The flat has an inviting living room with flat-screen TV, upholstered suite and wardrobe, as well as two bedrooms - the second with two single beds, which can also be put together, is located directly above the flat and can be reached via a staircase. A fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, dining table, chairs, fridge and a window with a view of the picturesque mountains, as well as a bathroom with shower, washbasin, WC and also a window-based mountain view, complete the offer.

Outside, you will find lovingly tended grounds with a variety of flowers, a sunbathing lawn and cosy outdoor seating. These invite you to linger, relax or barbecue while enjoying the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and idyllic half-timbered houses.

The area surrounding our guest house offers perfect conditions for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. The most beautiful hiking trails start right on our doorstep. The proximity to various shopping facilities, restaurants and cultural offers in Ilfeld, as well as the location in the heart of Germany, make it easy to explore the Harz Mountains and neighbouring regions. From the historic Harz narrow-gauge railway to the numerous excursion destinations and sports facilities nearby - there is something for everyone here.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
