Welcome to our charming, family-run guest house, nestled against the picturesque backdrop of the 600 metre-high mountains of the southern Harz. Situated in the historic town centre of Ilfeld, this accommodation impresses with its unique history as the town's first school, built in 1800 in an idyllic half-timbered style. Our holiday flats, named after the surrounding mountains or rock formations, offer you an authentic and peaceful break.

The "Kaulberg" holiday flat extends over approx. 45m² on the ground floor and is easily accessible via 4 steps, which makes it particularly attractive for older guests. It has a living room with flat-screen TV and comfortable upholstered suite, a kitchen with electric cooker, dining table and fridge, a bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC as well as two bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with a single bed. The highlight are the windows with a view of the historic Burgstraße, through which fresh air and the ambience of Ilfeld flow directly into the flat.

The enticing outdoor area of our guest house invites you to relax and barbecue with its variety of flowers, a well-tended lawn and cosy outdoor seating. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the marvellous view of the surrounding mountains and the picturesque half-timbered houses. It is the ideal place to unwind or relax after a day of exploring.

The area surrounding Ilfeld offers a wealth of opportunities for nature lovers and active guests. The most beautiful hiking trails start right on the doorstep, leading you through the impressive nature of the southern Harz. Shopping facilities for your daily needs, including a butcher's shop with Thuringian specialities, bakeries and a supermarket, are just a few minutes' walk away. Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
