This is a detached former farm with an extensive site, whose former outbuilding now houses the two holiday apartments on the first floor, one to the left, the other to the right. In between there are the private horse stables. The owners live on the ground floor. Your holiday accommodation is on a side street with little traffic on the outskirts, surrounded by meadows and fields, ideal for cycle trips to the tidal flats. The tranquil locality has restaurants and a bakery within walking distance.Former country house, extensively renovated and with two holiday apartments, private outdoor areas, a large garden, riding facilities and a small sauna. Dogs welcome.
While the holiday apartment with a roof terrace,has been very popular since 2015, measures 70m² and offers up to four adults and a child a relaxing holiday, this apartment completed in 2016 offers 75m² of living space for up to four adults. A more detailed description of this apartment follows: Newly completed holiday apartment in the country house with a balcony The holiday apartment newly completed in 2016 with 75m² of living space and comfortable furnishing in a rustic style exudes an enchanting atmosphere, so you will feel at ease as soon as you arrive and can relax. The apartment is on the first floor and is accessed separately up outdoor stairs, with metal steps with some wooden planks, to facilitate access for dogs. The entrance area flooded with daylight leads directly into the spacious living room, where you can relax after a day trip on a leather suite consisting of a three-seater sofa and two armchairs, with a flatscreen satellite TV providing entertainment and the fireplace stove exuding a romantic atmosphere. The adjoining built-in kitchen with a counter is fully-equipped for comprehensive and convenient self-catering, including a freezer, fridge, dishwasher, oven and microwave. The apartment has two tastefully furnished bedrooms each with a double bed, bedside tables and reading lamps. Wardrobes and dressers provide ample storage space for your luggage. The bathroom is fitted with a large bath with a shower attachment and shower screen. The floor with vinyl planks has underfloor heating. The Internet access has a speed of 100 Mbit/s. On the courtyard side there is a balcony accessed from the kitchen, on the south side, where a canopy beach chair or comfortable garden furniture await you during the summer months for relaxing outdoors.
Your four-legged companions can run around outside on the 5000m² site with greenery, although it is not fenced in. During the winter months, you can spend evenings by the fireplace stove in the living room (the owner provides firewood free of charge), or in the little sauna for two people (for shared use, to be arranged with the owner). In summer you can enjoy evenings by the campfire or the grill area in the separate gardens. The large driveway to the house has space for several cars. People and pets alike will find peace and quiet in the well-tended garden. Next to the site there is the pasture with a little pond, with a paddle boat available.
You are welcome to explore the beautiful area on one of the owner’s horses, free of charge for experienced riders. The owners live in the lower part of the house and are happy to assist with any queries. On request a basket of firewood is offered by the owner for free.
In the immediate vicinity there are many beautiful hiking trails. On weekdays, the local baker a five-minute walk away offers fresh bread rolls. In the forest about a half-hour walk away you can find rustic forest inns, alternatively there is a restaurant a side street away. There are also a playground and a football ground. The North Sea and the nearest seaside resort Lüthmoorsiel are about 12km away. There are shopping facilities about 6km away. You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings along waymarked hiking and riding trails through marsh and heathland.
