The holiday apartment is located in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, near the town of Daun with its many tourist attractions. The landscape of the Eifel was shaped by volcanic activity in the past. The lava bomb and the volcano museum near Strohn provide insights into this.
In Bad Bertrich, you will find the Glauber's salt thermal baths with a thermal pool and sauna. The varied landscape of the Vulkaneifel offers you the opportunity for relaxing walks, e.g. on the 40 km long Eifelkrimi hiking trail, or beautiful bike rides, e.g. on the Mosel-Maare cycle path. The Janshen poultry farm in Ellscheid is a great destination for a day trip. It is only 2 km from Winkel and offers a fantastic view of the surrounding area.
Trier (the oldest city in Germany, birthplace of Karl Marx and location of the Porta Nigra) and Koblenz (Roman city on the Moselle and the romantic Rhine) are approx. 65 km from Winkel.

Payment terms and -periods
A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.
If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
