Just 9 km from the Baltic Sea is the beautiful village of Glashagen Ausbau at the end of a narrow road. The nearest shopping centre is in Bad Doberan, 4 km away. To make it easier to find us: the village is signposted as Kunstort Glashagen on all access roads.
The beautiful, 35 square metre one-room flat (renovated in 2019) for non-smokers is located on the 1st floor and has a separate entrance. It offers space for 2 people and a toddler under 2 years. The flat has: - 1 very small bathroom with WC, washbasin and shower,- 1 combined living room/bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, smart TV and a sofa and dining table- 1 kitchen with cooker, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, sink, in addition to other usual kitchen utensils and fridge. We love old furniture. A high chair and a baby cot can be provided on request. Nearest shopping centre - 4 km. As the flat has wall heating, it is not possible to achieve a complete temperature reduction at night. For this reason, an extra heating surcharge is levied in the low season (included in the price). A room for 1-2 persons can be booked on request. Please use the inside staircase without shoes! So that the flat is not overloaded, some equipment, such as hoover - fan - etc. are stored separately. If you ask us, it will be provided immediately. A smoking area with seating is located 15 metres away.
The property includes a pottery, a tea house and a large park with the works of 70 artists and Germany's largest stone circle. You will also find other artistic workshops and a practice for alternative healing methods in the immediate vicinity. Courses can be booked in the pottery.
There are 4 fully equipped guest accommodations on the estate. Your car park is located on the property. The holiday home is located on the same property as the owner's house. Arrival is between 4 and 6 pm. Please arrange any deviations by telephone. On the day of departure, please return the keys by 10 am at the latest.
Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, about 4 km south of Bad Doberan, in the middle of a sculptural end moraine landscape and on an 85 metre high hill, there is a small settlement that has long attracted artists, healers and those seeking peace and quiet - the district of Glashagen Ausbau. A section of the Pilgrims' Way of St James leads directly past our property and not far away, the well-known Glashagen spring rises in a valley. Just a few kilometres northwest of Bad Doberan, directly on the Baltic Sea, lies the small "white town" of Heiligendamm, in front of which is the oldest German racecourse, which has also been the venue for the well-known Zappanale for many years. The seaside resorts of Warnemünde to the east and Kühlungsborn to the west are both around 15 km from Bad Doberan and therefore also from our property - and can be reached quite quickly by car on the L12 Bäderstrasse itself or by bike on the Baltic Sea long-distance cycle path.
